Description
Gopala-tapani Upanisad, part of Atharva veda, is often quoted by Gaudiya acaryas since it is sruti text which clearly praises Krishna and the path of bhakti as supreme. Its main subject is Krishna. It also explains the Krishna mantra in detail.
This Gopala-tapani upanishad has been translated by Bhanu Swami and it includes the commentaries of Jiva Goswami also.
