Defeating Vatsasura by Priti Vardhana dasa

Defeating Vatsasura is a guidebook writteb to help caregivers, parents and teachers, to raise children in Krishna consciousness. The aim is to direct all in the practical application and subsequent realization of the Srimad Bhagavatam’s teachings in their daily lives, thus enabling the success of these caregivers in paving the way for their children’s journey back home, back to Godhead, in this very lifetime.

 This book was written by Priti Vardhana dasa, a disciple of His Holiness Bhaktividya-purna Swami.Priti Vardhana dasa has been serving in the Gurukula for the past 20 years. He is one of the deans of the Academy specifically serving in the boys’ Gurukula.

In preparation for writing this book, “Defeating Vatsasura,” Priti Vardhana dasa studied the Srimad Bhagavatam and writings of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura for 3 years. Through this in depth study and his 20 years of experience in raising children in Gurukula this book has manifested.

It is said, “the child is father of the man.” Through the careful study and application of the knowledge in this book this can be realized in a Krishna conscious way.
